I’m a lifelong Massachusetts native with an equally lifelong fascination with true crime. It started early—watching the O.J. Simpson verdict unfold live at school (it was the ’90s, after all)—and it never let go. Since then, I’ve watched just about every episode of 20/20, 48 Hours, City Confidential, and anything else willing to reopen a case and ask the questions that don’t always have easy answers.
Some of the cases that first pulled me in were the Louise Woodward trial, Sarah Johnson’s conviction for killing her parents, and the stories of Laci Peterson, Robert Blake, and Phil Spector. High-profile cases, yes—but more importantly, moments that revealed how justice, media, and human behavior collide, often imperfectly.
I created Murders in Massachusetts because something was missing. While true crime has gone global, the stories closest to home often get overlooked—or only partially told. I’ve driven past these streets, followed these cases for years, and watched how certain details fade from public conversation while the questions remain.
This podcast is about bringing the focus back—reexamining the cases that unfolded in quiet towns and familiar neighborhoods across Massachusetts, the places we think we know best… until something unthinkable happens.
